Today at RISE-UP NDUGU Initiative Uganda, our team hit the streets with energy and purpose — engaging young men and boys in a powerful awareness campaign on responsible masculinity and positive community leadership.
What we did:

• Reached neighborhoods, schools, and marketplaces with brief, high-impact conversations.

• Shared practical tips on conflict resolution, emotional expression, and economic responsibility.

• Distributed educational materials and invited participants to join upcoming workshops and mentorship programs.

Why it matters:

• Quick, visible actions spark curiosity and open doors for deeper conversations.

• When boys and young men see positive role models in public spaces, community norms begin to shift.

• Small interactions build trust that leads to sustained participation in leadership and livelihood initiatives.
