A Message from Our Founder & Executive Director

"As a Rotarian, my life has been dedicated to 'Service Above Self.' But during my time in the field, I noticed a worrying silence. While our sisters were being empowered with amazing programs, our brothers were standing on the sidelines, forgotten. I saw brilliant young men with no direction, hiding their struggles behind a mask of toughness.
I realized then that a community is like a human body it cannot walk forward if one side is neglected. I started RISE-UP NDUGU to be the bridge for those young men. We aren't just giving them a hand-out; we are giving them back their dignity, their skills, and their voices. When we help a 'Ndugu' rise, we aren't just helping one man—we are securing the peace and future of our entire nation."
